Dr. Katherine Grace Hefner, DMD
For over 52 years, Aesthetic Dentistry has been providing quality dentistry. When you visit Dr. Katherine Grace Hefner, you can relax and focus on you as we create your new smile in a comfortable, family atmosphere. In dental school, Dr. Hefner excelled in artistic skills, and she has since taken many advanced cosmetic courses.
We make use of state-of-the-art dental technology to keep you feeling and looking great, such as lasers, Zoom whitening, and diagnostic wax models to let you preview the results of your cosmetic treatment.

Generations of patients
Dr. Gene Grace, DDS, PA
Founder
Dr. Grace started this family practice in 1975. A graduate of Wofford College and Emory University School of Dentistry (1973), he has practiced in Beaufort ever since, with hundreds of continuing education hours from the gurus of dentistry. He and his bride of over 50 years, Beth, have two daughters — one of whom, Katherine, is his boss now.
Kim Blackmon
Business Manager
Kim joined our team in 2018 and likes that everyone here treats each other and our patients like family. She does her best to make every patient feel comfortable and at home with dental health, insurance, and billing questions. Kim has two grown children in North Carolina and two stepsons at Western Carolina University.
Dawn Cherami
Front Office Patient Coordinator
Dawn is the first face you see when you walk in our door. With over 26 years of patient care and office experience, her bright smile and calm demeanor put you right at ease. Originally from the Mississippi Gulf Coast, she has lived in Beaufort for more than 15 years with her daughter, Natalie, and a cat named Pumpkin.
Stacy O’Neal
Front Office Patient Coordinator
Stacy joined our team in 2008, working the front desk and assisting for 10 years. She took some time off to raise and homeschool her three children but has returned part-time. She loves Jesus, her husband, her family, and being back with this amazing work family!
Terry Johnson
Registered Dental Hygienist
Terry has been with Aesthetic Dentistry since 1983 — over 40 years. She graduated from Battery Creek High School and Armstrong State College, and has lived in Beaufort since 1973. She has seen multiple generations of patients from the same family in our office. She and Bob have two sons and four grandchildren.
Marti Almendarez
Certified Dental Assistant
Marti has been part of the Aesthetic Dentistry team since 2008. A graduate of West Ottawa High School and Stanley Harris School of Cosmetology, she also completed the American Red Cross dental assisting course. She brings her cheery disposition to work every morning. She's married with one son, a stepdaughter, and two puppies.
Becki Boyd
Certified Dental Assistant
Becki has been part of Aesthetic Dentistry for over 16 years and in the dental field since 2005. A graduate of Bellows Falls Union High School in Vermont, Becki always comes to work with a smile. Also, she is our in-house naturalist tending the plants and birds that patients love to watch from the windows. Becki is married to Corey and is mom to two grown boys, Hunter and Carson.
